I'm beating another better FC team because of poor PFL management. All 11 of my team came into the game on sublime fitness, whereas his team was wasted.

He was all out in the first innings for 109, so far I'm 1/277.

I'm going to set my declaration total as 700, and my bowlers to very defensive in the hope that it'll last the three days.

Good to see Read make runs. Will finish this off tomorrow.

Hmm looks like another two day home match. Playing the side coming 3rd, so I was expecting a pretty tough match. Still a long way to go and I still reckon we can get a result out of this match. A hour left to play so hopefully we can get some early wickets and then make the most of morning collaspe thing.

Today's been nigh-on perfect for me.

League table:

1. Rickmansworth 211pts
2. Withington 193pts (196 at close of play today)
3. Inter Yerma 189pts (192)
4. Westbury 132pts

This week, it's 4th vs 2nd and 1st vs 3rd.

In my match, I've bowled out the opposition for 169, and made 195/1 in reply, motoring along at just under 5 an over. A century for Reed, and 50 for Perry.

Will try to bat until 400 tomorrow, which might even give me enough time to finish the match in two days. Whether I get there or not is a different matter!

In the other one, Yerma have taken Rickmansworth down for just 161, and are 124/1 in reply. So, no batting bonus points for the top team...and possibly less than full bowling points if Yerma does the sensible thing -- we both need to restrict R'worth's bonus points if we're going to catch him.

I play Rickmansworth at home next week...unless they make a sparkling recovery against Yerma, the winner of that match will most probably gain promotion. A draw would let Yerma right in.

Excitement!

Playing against 3rd today, who despite being below me in the league, have a better side with decent PFL. I'm going for the draw so we're on a flat wicket and my side performed much as I expected today. Kepler is scheduled to come in at 4 in what is a pretty strong batting lineup for me, so hopefully I can rack up full bonus points for batting and hold onto 2nd position for now.

Rocketing along at the moment. I think my declare total is about 550. At this rate we should get about 20 overs to bowl at them today. Hopefully we can bowl them out and then chase down the runs.
