Caves beach cc hosted long time frind and manager Ethaymac. he 2 teams have had numerous friendlies and have got a really good friendly rivalry with all matches close and competative. Caves_beach cc rested 3 out of the top 5 bolwers as fitness was a key area after a hectic schedule in recent weeks.
Caves beach won the toss and had a bat and the openers got off to the normal good start but where both gone while the scores where at 97. Young rookie Jongikhaya was given a chance to shine and did exactly that with an unbeaten 120*(104). Tyler also put in a big contribution and continued his good form with 123(113), with the boys hitting a huge 3 - 337. manager Rob Malone was always a little concerned with 3 key bolwers out that it may not have been a big enough total unless some one put there hands up to lead from the front with the pill.

The opposition come out firing and got of to a massive start, @ 1 - 210 they looked in total control however up and coming spinner Kamara bolwed well only taking the 1 wicket however going for 3.6 runs per over was a big effort when most bowlers went for 5 and 6 an over. Dee Crew got very close falling 22 runs short. With the openers dominating procedings with sheepy getting 114(124) & Thorne 140(136). all in all a good game and a solid hit out for all players and teams involved.

caves_beachcc won the toss and elected to bat.

Jaffna Jets have just brought in a new lower middle order batsmen, Dave Evans for 165k. Evans is expected to make his debut for the club in its FC fixture on Tuesday against OTH CC, batting at number 7. Evans is expected to bowl a couple of overs during the match as well, with his left arm chinamens.

made it 3/3 in the league after an easy win over DIVESrUS. Morrison and Janes both scored 100s as we made 330 odd. DIVESrUS were lucky enough to face the bowling of veteran derek henshaw who bowled 10 overs for 87. but wickets to hamshaw and lee, iirc, insured that they would never get close. the next 3 rounds will be the big test for my side. the 3 sides who, at the start of the season at least, i had in my top 4 along with my side.

fitness is holding out fine at the moment. i've made the decision to get a couple of players up to strong, but all the key players fitness is holding very steady. so for the time being at least i can't see any need to eliminate ourselves from the cup. not much else to say really. we did made make about 680k in gates last week but...

I think that Macca is simply doomed to be crap with the bat. He's wonderful/sensational. and has made 5 runs from 2 innings this season. Sure, not much to go on, but he's been underperforming for seasons now. I'm considering sell Macca & Ralph, and simply buying a gun RF and a gun RFM. How much do you think they'd go for? An exceptional/exceptional attacking RM with superb stamina and Macca, you already know, but with wonderful bowling & superb fielding.

Got beaten by the aptly named crushers in todays game, managed to scrape through to 258/8 but was soundly trounched with two of their batsman scoring centuries.
