5-wicket cup win today chasing 157 or so. Rested a few, and lost three early wickets. Kumar took us home easily though, with 56. I'll get mauled next week by the team last in the top division.

No he isn't, he just wants Whitehorne.Adamc said:Well, I did get a BT-mail from Pob yesterday asking if I was interested in a swap. Apparently he's a little concerned about his wage bill, which is over 200k.

Indeed. The random 'm' and the 'John john' as a surname have to be the stupidest names on Battrick. Especially when you look at someone like thisdontcloseyoureyes said:Yeah, there's heaps of players with the 'm' at the end. I remember Adam recomended Bridges m to Trev, despite the stupid name.
For new players, a superb academy with 35 ITS guarantees them a mediocre, at worst, player, who would still be able to make their team. And then you have the chance of getting a proficient allrounder.Robertinho said:Hmm.. it's not worth doing a young pull unless you have a ~superb academy in my opinion (35 ITS to a 17yo), but it costs heaps to get there. For new players, the YP system is a bit of a waste if you ask me, rarely get anything decent for what would be 100s of k to upgrade it to superb. I'd just keep saving and figure out what you're going to do.
