I was playing 5 first teamers, 3 of them comp "filler" batsmen, then Jones (resp/comp bat) and Payton (resp/resp bowl). I didn't want to Jones to bat much due to PFL but oh well, he's still at sublime. Very good experience, first time I've played what is effectively a 2nd XI, worked a treat. I get a TF boost, a morale boost, I'm through to the next round of the cup, all my main players have saved precious PFL and all my crappy/backup bit-players get a game, to whip them back into decent form.

Looking ahead, my Cup opponents will be an easy TIE, but may have to play some decent players. My FC opponent hasn't logged on since the 23rd of August so even though he has a reasonable team, there should be no problems. OD opponent has some guns but I can TIE-beat him, I think.

None of my PFLs dropped except Moodley who's got respectable stamina and he's at energetic.

He's playing FC but not on Friday so should be OK.

Here's a suggestion I want to send in to Allan: when playing a bot, you win the toss automatically.

Cup games in England are on time :)

Nice and easy win in the cup today. Lost the toss, they batted and got skittled for 67, Rahimuddin taking 5 and Carless 4. My pretty crap openers knocked them off easily, now I've just got to decide what to do with my FC side.

Over a period of 4 years.

And none of them are of the "lol, that's funny" or "well done x" "well done y" variety.

Won my match pretty easy, rolled then for 113 and got it with 10 wickets in hand. My rookie quick bowled pretty well in his debut and my all rounder all had his best game with the bowl.

Jeithoon 2/39(10) - Rookie quick
Muralitharan 3/33(10) - All rounder

Got to love the new ratings, worse since my first season.

Jaffna Jets
Top Order: mediocre
Middle Order: mediocre
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling: feeble
Spin Bowling: feeble
Fielding: woeful

shame he's defensive - the stamina will come in handy. Can't argue with that.
