I arrive home just in time to see the last two overs of my game against PY. Unfortunately.
Boggles 2/308
Chanderpaul 122 (133), Abdul kadir 98 (102), Moodley 43* (42)
Erasmus 1/59, Fernando 1/47
Magical Ponies 294 (49.2)
Kilkenny 76 (84), Tedstone 59 (52), Canning 39 (54)
Singh 5/49 (9.2), Malik 3/67 (10)
Was looking at a loss from the start of our innings, with Farmer, Griffin and Sutton all gone by the end of the 6th over. And it didn't help when Canning (fair fitness) and Kilkenny (feeble stamina) started slowing down, although Parr played a nice cameo at the end with 37* off 24.
Singh a very deserving MOTM, with 5 wickets and 36* off 26 from number 4.
Can anyone explain why my top order, which is normally respectable, has only been competent for the last two weeks? It's the same top order, and if anything it's better, as Kilkenny's receiving a net (but still has sublime fitness). The same goes for my spin attack, which is also usually respectable.
