U19 Vice-Captain
Hi, Quickly before I go home for the weekend, The Gurs secured the V.76 title today, with a comprehensive win over FC Davidofv, but they weren't as convincing as usual, despite PANing instead of their normal GFIing.
FC Davidifv 89 A/O, Manning 23, Mitchell 27, Bewers 7/2/16/4, Bridges M 9.2/2/16/3, Mullins 5/3/4/1, Bent 10/5/19/2.
Cymru Gurgitaters 90/1 13.3, Greening 49* (40), Noon 26 (27), Staveley 17* (12)
Had what is now becoming my standard ratings of: Prof/Comp/Abs - Resp/Strong/Feeb.
I'm currently 36th on the promotion table, climbing four places today. However I still need to make sure of a win next week, as if I were to drop points I'd still slip out of the top 128, and have to face a most unnecessary and inconvenient playoff. But all the same, I can't think of any other words to better describe my emotions about romping The Title, than those of Waqar Younis when I rather ill-advisedly attempted to interview him live on radio, as he came off the field after scoring an unbeaten forty-odd to help Glamorgan Beat Yorkshire to reach the NatWest Cup final.
TV - Waqar, You're at Lord's, how does it feel?
WY - F**king Great!
TV - Um…So It's back to you in the studio!
Sacked all my coaches, apart from Bridges M bowling net, and hired nine fitness coaches. Patel, Noon, Greening, Staveley and Bennett are the first victims in the Fat camp.
Talk Monday, Trev
