I'm going to move up, and that's not a good thing. I don't think I'll be able to stay up in Div. IV.

Looks like i'll be in Div III next season too. With my 10 wicket GFI victory today it looks to be in the bag. i didn't really need to GFI i just wanted to see what i could rack up.
Ended up losing the toss and bowling first. bowled RAMBONIA a.o. for 125 in 30 overs
Mangweni taking 6/23 (10)
Knocked the 126 off in 18.3 Nutter back in form with 73(53)
Bissmire chipped in with a 50

Prize Money

Teams finishing 1st down to 4th are awarded Prize Money at the end of the season as follows:

The cup winners and runners up will also receive prize money, £250,000 and £100,000 respectively. This money is awarded at the end of the season, not at the end of the cup.

I'll be moving up this season to Div 4 as well. I figure I should be alright, will probably place somewhere in the middle, but hopefully be able to stay there.

Man, I wish it was more than 50k. That means by the end of the season I'll probably only have 400k. I really need another good batsman too. The lineup is pretty weak, especially towards the end. Pfft, gonna get so hammered next season.

That'd still be more than I've had at one point this whole season.

I'll be getting somewhere between 325k and 500k in prizemoney, depending on where I end up in the league (can't finish lower than 4th). Also got two more home games, which should bring in close to 300k each once my ground expansion is finished. Which means I can spend 4mil and still have about 1mil left at the end of the season.

My main problem is 400k isn't really enough for a good bat, which means I'll probably have to play a fair chunk of next season without a decent number 6.

adam, lovers wray is all ours if you want him. i'm a couple hundred thousand short of being able to afford him tbh.

won my game today by 10 wickets, moving 16 points clear in the process, and securing the title at long last. i'm 7th on the nz promotion table, and i'm desperately trying to move up to 6th so i can promote to II.3 next season. i guess i'll have to wait and see what happens.
