Hmm, Hoggy and possibly SKD and Kwek out of the cup already, maybe playing my cup match on Take It Easy isn't such a good idea after all... are you playing on TIE Kwek?

I don't think the divisions means much yet, I looked at 'The County Championship' in England (that's the highest league/division) and some of the teams looked worse than mine.

All the teams in the top divisions for each country are still filled with bots, so naturally they're crap. Human teams won't be in Div I until next season. The div II teams in all countries other than Australia and England are teams who came 1st or 2nd in their league, and for Australia and England they came 1st, so they're generally fairly good. Div III and below are all pretty much the same I think, not sure though.

Turning into an interesting match here Rob.

As I've just lost 3 wickets for 7 runs in 7 balls, now 203-8 after 46.4 overs.

We could make 220 here, if the tail get lucky.

Fair enough, I do think most of the division 3, 4 and 5 teams are similar, but I guess they'll polarize a bit over the next couple of seasons when hopefully I'll have been promoted twice...

Wow, got a 'competent' for the top order in the reporter's summary, mediocre for fielding and seam bowling also, usually get feeble at best.

My cup match just got underway, lost the toss, bowling first. Oddy bowled a maiden first up, with a runout off the last ball dismissing one of their openers, who averaged 227 going into this match. Decided to play my youth pull in this match as the fifth bowler instead of Berry, leaving Berry to play as a specialist batsman. Also brought Badley back for yet another opportunity to prove his worth.

Nice, were you playing on GFI? I generally find my ratings go up one or two levels on GFI, and the opposite on TIE obviously. My ratings from this season:

On TIE (top order/middle order/seam): mediocre/feeble/feeble
Normal (top order/middle order/seam): proficient/mediocre/competent
GFI (top order/middle order/seam): strong/competent/competent

I usually get useless for spin, because I don't play a spinner, but I get feeble when I play my mediocre spinner. When I started I was getting competent/feeble/feeble on normal, so my team's improved a little since then.

I've played every game so far on normal, with having 2 games a week with this unexpected cup run. I have the same 'useless' for spin also, played all on green pitches so far thankfully...

Won my cup match without any trouble, home by ten wickets. Bowled them out for 214, Gillespie taking 8-53 (his second eight-wicket haul), all eight wickets in his second spell. Male the only other wicket-taker with 1-32 off 10, Street with a tidy 0-34 on debut. Cuss and Bridge cruised home in the 36th over, Bridge with his third straight ton (106* off 115), while Cuss just missed out (99* off 103). Pretty happy with that, justified my decision to play on TIE, even though I still managed to get decent match ratings (respectable/mediocre/mediocre). My fitness level jumped two levels as a result of playing TIE as well. Full of confidence for the next league match against the current no. 1.

Sweet, Cuss just popped to quality batting in the last training update. :D Begg went up to respectable as well, so I've now got: 1 quality, 1 strong, 1 proficient, 2 respectable, 4 competent. My youth pull Street's BT rating also jumped 1,325 (to 3,568) in his first week of training.
