I won easy on a TIE. bowled them out for 89, then knocked the runs off in about 15 overs! Waddell made his 4th 50 in as many innings for the club giving him scores of 60, 55, 65 & 54 since he was signed a couple of weeks ago.

teams in a league as high as yours scoring 89
whats up with that
hmm, i think that it happens in most leagues tbh. in NZ in the division III leagues, I think that the strength of teams tends to vary quite a bit. it certainly does in mine at least.

Well we lost, as I had expected. Got a few more runs than I thought we would, though.

Reporter's Summary
Crusaders Ridgeway Cricket Clb
Top Order: woeful feeble
Middle Order: woeful woeful
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: woeful feeble
Spin Bowling: woeful competent

Edit: I can take comfort in that only one of our bowlers bowled an extra (a no ball) and we gave away only 10 byes. The other team had 8 extras and 21 byes.

Had a nice easy boring win, bowled them out for 43 and got the runs in six overs flat. Louis took 6-19 (bowled 9 overs straight through) and Badley 3-10. Wynand got out again though, don't know what's up with that guy.

Oh well, nice to see Louis taking wickets. Since I bought him he's taken 2-28, 6-30, 1-39, 4-26 and 6-19, though some of those hauls were against bots and weak teams. Hopefully he'll do well against andy's team on Sunday.

Oh, and I got an attendance of 28,362, which was nearly 8,000 more than my last home game.

I got one with competent stamina and mediocre fielding, worthless everything else. Got something similar last week too, I do wonder if the YPs get more generous towards the end of the season to balance out the extra few weeks of age but I doubt there's any way of knowing.

well back from holiday, missed one YP due to my plane's 10 hour delay, then spent 35ITS on a med/med allrounder :great:

Won my match on Friday despite discovering i've played the last 2 matches without my spinner and with one of my openers (worthless bowler) taking his place in the attack - doh!

Get round to looking in to pops tomorrow, though on first glance it wasn't a good week

Crap, blew 38 ITS on a 19yo lowish-competent/feeble/feeble with feeble fielding. Was hoping he'd be at least respectable so I could slot him into my lineup at no. 8. Oh well, will see if I can recover my losses on the transfer market; if not I'll keep him as backup.

Lol getting my behind handed to me in a challenge. THey made 1-416 with a guy getting 212 off 150.

Mind you, I brought in about 5 players who don't make my first XI...

You know for the national sides, and under-19 sides, suppose you have players eligible for them. Do you think you should register them?

Just started my friendly with Coiled Spingboks, we lost the toss and they sent us in. Going ok so far, but i don't think they are playing their best side though.

End of Over 5: 29-0, runrate=5.80
Kirby 3-1-8-0
Girubaharan* 9 (21 balls)
Hodge 15 (11 balls)

God this is awful, my batsmen have hit the wall, their lack of stamina has really hurt me. They scored like only 10 runs in the last 10 overs. We went from 5 an over to under 3. Oh well one of them is out so hopefully we can set a defendable total. Da Silva went from 38 off 52 balls to well, have a look. :@

End of Over 40: 150-4, runrate=3.75
Otsemobor 10-3-15-1
Senior* 1 (7 balls)
Da silva 45 (77 balls)

Last Wicket: Ajizal b. Jarman 31 (FOW: 144/4)
