Steve Nutter brings in the first half-century ever for Drunk XI with this

15.5 6 Allaway to Nutter
No messing about, Nutter sends it into orbit. Look out Sputnik!
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Hmm ok, I'll accept it shortly unless you want to play at 10.30am as opposed to half past midnight, I'm not fussed either way - with it being New Year's Day.

Utterly walloped the bot team I had to beat this week to keep up my perfect record since took over (got to love bot leagues :D).

Now won 14 matches in a row yet still didn't get automatic promotion, got a woeful-based team in the playoffs though so should be OK.

Boggles 391/1 (50 overs)
Singh 187* (139)
Ahmed 122* (104)
Ahmed 70 (64)

Gurgaon CC 65ao (19.1 overs)
Rampaul 3/9
Chanderpaul 3/19

Won by 326 runs with ratings:

Boggles
Top Order: proficient
Middle Order: respectable
Lower Order: woeful
Seam Bowling: strong
Spin Bowling: strong
Fielding: mediocre

I probably won't play the same team as I usually do because I want to see how some of my younger players get on.

It'll be a close run thing I reckon. :)

Plus it's at a respectable time as well as mine would be at 4.30am in the morning. :)

Can't wait for next season with the individual fitness levels kicking in, should be such an improvement over those hugely influential team fitness levels (which will still exist I presume, but with a much reduced affect)
