No pops.

My Twenty20 group looks pretty easy, thankfully:

BadLight - hairingtons, V.35
beefybotham - coliny, V.92
Kez Sixers - kezlad2cool, VI.113

Should be three pretty straightforward TIEs, to set me up nicely for the next stage. I recognise the name hairingtons, but I suspect (hope!) it's through Sledging rather than any particular gunness.

Finished 4th in my OD league, in the end -- 2nd-4th were very close, and I could probably have finished 2nd with a tactical GFI or two.

I'm sitting pretty in my twenty20 group, only one guy that could potentially give me problems with a prof-comp batting ratings, but crap bowling so should be alright. The rest are easy beats, sadly only the one home match....

No pops this week however, when I expected one or two, am expecting a whole slew of them next week.

I'll play you if you like, but I'm going to rest my first XI this week as I'm a bit worried about the PFL hit from Twenty20 matches. So you'll just be playing a bunch of competents.

Once Sisk finishes with his bowling net, should have popped this week really, Jeithoon will get a fitness net until he hits respectable stamina.
Hey guys how close you reckon this guys will be from Under 19s. My guess is i will have to get his stamina up to competent atleast and bowling up to wonderful/proficient. But then again with Sri Lanka remarkable could be enough. Anyone got any inside knowleadge of the level required for Sri Lankan U19s.

Looks as though you have given him 3xbowling nets since week 1. Very impressive at Remarkable bowling and should get an immediate call-up next season. What he really needs now is stamina, and fielding to improve that skill and and quicken those consistency pops.

How many nets can you allocate him next season ?
thanks
Drew
From the Sri Lankan Under 19 manager regarding Jeithoon, so gun.

Might as well give him a fitness net and stop Sishayi bowling net for week or so, until Sisk pops.

get stamina on him as soon as possible. i reckon 2 fitness nets for the next few weeks ffs. he won't last as an u19 with feeble stamina. get it up to respectable as quickly as possible. from next week onwards, i think, go with 2 bowl, 2 stam and 1 field for the next 12-18 weeks.

Would two fitness net make much difference, compared to one? Wont he just pop like every 3-4 instead of 5 weeks.

The Under 19 manager said 1 X Fitness, 1 X Fielding and 2 X Bowling is fine for him. I think for Sri Lanka and similar teams there is a lot of guys around the competent-ese stamina. He should be competent by 8 weeks.

Most of mine have taken five weeks, but yes it is in between 5-6 weeks. Still two nets would just mean 4 weeks most of the time, so really im not sure it will make much difference. If the Under 19 manager (GM Drew), says you have to get him up to respectable ASAP i might put it on.
