Game is hotting up, they need 34 from 6 overs with 4 wickets in hand and a slight collapse has begun.

I'm annoyed though because little inconsequential gimps have come in and brought the run-rate right down against my wonderful seamer and superb spinner, it doesn't make sense.

Won it in the end by 22 runs. :)

Sekani took 4/38 and Bardle took 4/48. Those two seem to snaffle all the wickets at the moment, good job really because the rest of my bowlers aren't upto much. :p

End of Over 25: 94-2, runrate=3.76
Vincent 6-1-11-0
Soloman* 55 (72 balls)
Ward 1 (6 balls)

Bowling quite nicely, so i am pleased with Vincent's efforts in particular.

Got put into bat, swapped Obrien and Wheat in the order because I nearly always seem to lose an early wicket and Wheat performs worse than Packer even with 6 extra levels of concentration with both as openers. Obrien got a run a ball 12.

End of Over 26: 138-1, runrate=5.31
Storer 3-0-19-0
Packer* 62 (86 balls)
Armstrong 60 (58 balls)

Last Wicket: Obrien lbw b. Tracey 12 (FOW: 14/1)

Storer is complete rubbish, so I should pummel him for a while and that'll keep my run rate going. They've got their better bowlers bowling in the last 10 but I should avoid collapse there at this rate.

I'm in serious trouble; think I might've been GFI'd (I'm PAN), but still this is bad. No more actual batsmen to come in and keep Bromby company. Their batting lineup is so-so, but my bowlers haven't exhibited any great ability to bowl sides out and Ganfield is pretty rubbish, so I can't see this one going well for me from here. Bugger.

End of Over 27: 110-4, runrate=4.07
Black 4-0-11-2
Bromby* 58 (87 balls)
Ganfield 1 (2 balls)

Got put in to bat, and was 6/2 after seven balls!

Fortunately, it was just my "buffer" opening pair. Currently 117/3 on a flat pitch, after Reed went and got himself caught for 49 off the bowling of some numpty -- BTR only 7.5k, so easily the worst bowler of the match :(

Now I'm really stuffed:

End of Over 31: 120-5, runrate=3.87
Otsemobor 6-0-22-0
Bromby* 63 (99 balls)
Oleary 0 (2 balls)

Not being helped either by the fact that Bromby seems to have almost completely stopped; he's got about 10 runs in the last 10 overs. Nearly certain I've been GFI'd now; I clobbered this lot last time.

Packer being annoyingly slow here:

End of Over 38: 189-1, runrate=4.97
Shaw 9-0-61-0
Armstrong* 97 (95 balls)
Packer 73 (121 balls)

Last Wicket: Obrien lbw b. Tracey 12 (FOW: 14/1)

Should get about 280, which should be more than enough.

And there we sodding go. Singh comes on and takes a hattrick...then three more two overs later.

All out for 157, from 43 overs, with Sandwith stranded on 42.

Woeful. That's my title chances over :(

Hmm Dillon smashed a 50 off 25 balls... brisk stuff. Look at the positives Mahindinho, I could promote into your division for next season...

Edit: Singlefest last over, ended up with 293-3

Great. That'll make it easier for me to promote.

Yet again, I'm seriously thinking of flogging Hirst and Gibb and instead getting an uberbowler -- there really is just no substitute for someone who can rip through a batting lineup.
