What sort of price range would be reasonable for that sort of player? He's going at 100k at the moment, which seems reasonably cheap to me, but I'm not certain.

edit: on second thought, it's not really cheap at all. Still a handy sort of player for my team though, so I'm considering it.

nah you will find Comp/Med/Med on the market for 20 k sometimes very similar to this guy so just keep looking althrough if you want to buy him its your choice.

In all fairness, he'd pop to respectable in one/two nets but yeah, bit over-priced given he's 22.

Yeah, I think he just looked reasonably priced because there was nobody comparable up for auction at that particular time. There's a few more reasonable options I'm looking at now.

Another query, then. Does this guy's concentration mean he'll be a totally useless batsman? I realise he's not that good anyway, but he's better in most respects than my current second spinner who bats at 8, and he's currently going for 1k, so if I could get him for 20 or so it'd be a pretty reasonable deal I think.

His batting will be pretty poor I reckon, though he is at 8 I guess. He's next to no use as a bat and 20k would be expensive for him.

I have a med/med with woeful secondaries and comp stamina for 10k if you're interested? He's on list at the moment.

How much've you got? That exquisite batsman is going incredibly cheap (IMO) at the moment, not sure how much he'll end up at but the deadline's in a few hours.
He won't get him. dgaust has 10mil in the bank, and Tarr is definitely joining IV.48 :(

Well he went for 7.5m in the end. I was quite worried when he was going for 5m with five minutes to go, thought I'd missed out on a huge bargain.

My main spinner isn't playing and AKD is batting at 6 with my wicketkeeper batting at 3 but apart from that yeah - they were all sublime fitness apart from Norris and the match i have left is a walkover.

A bit like the guy I'm training up for profit:

Craig Khuliso (543602)
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Scaly Piscine CC
Nationality: Australia
Age: 19 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 12,582
Wages: £3,252 p/w

Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: woeful Concentration: worthless
Bowling: superb Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: worthless

He's not popped in bowling yet but he will do shortly, no idea when the stamina will pop. I bought them for 1m. Should be able to sell for 2m at least, even if I only train the stamina to abysmal.

Another guy I'm training up for a profit is this one:

Gordon Terry (59288)
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
An attacking player with respectable leadership skills and woeful experience.

Plays For: Scaly Piscine CC
Nationality: Australia
Age: 25 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 11,696
Wages: £3,169 p/w

Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: strong Concentration: feeble
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: woeful
Fielding: feeble

He was 914k. Should take 1-3 weeks to pop, if I'm lucky I'll get a concentration pop as well. Should be able to sell them on later for 1.5m or something like that. The weakest of my now 7 strong+ bats.
