I need to learn to wait for the right type of players on the transfer market. I basically just brought the first guy on the market. Not the worse deal every, a decent price and decent upgrade, but another player with poor stamina and average secondaries. I'm never going to learn.

Code:
Seymour Sisk - 20 yo, BT Rating=13,018
RH Batsman, LM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
An attacking player with abysmal leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: superb Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: feeble
After selling him at 2.5 mil ATM, i brought this guy for 3.7 mil.

Code:
Karl Willetts - 20 yo, BT Rating=18,046
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
An attacking player with abysmal leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: feeble
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: quality Consistency: respectable
Fielding: woeful
Happy his attacking temperment which is what i wanted and another player to train to remarkable. Only problem is four quality-ish players to train to remarkable and one free net. Got to sort out the teams stamina issue first however. Four main players with feeble stamina and an all rounder with medicore stamina, is killing me.

Bowled my opposition out for 50 odd, Poke taking 6, Wikus taking 4. Chased it 2 down, Heskins and Hocking falling, a bit upset about that, but it was a much needed win, hopefully i have another two league wins in a row coming too.

Dylan played through for 54* and Keane contributed well with 34 despite getting out. Annoyed at Jephcott and Munroe getting out, though.

Chased down the runs easily, albeit pretty slowly.

HT Holdens 134 (42.4)
PotgietMer 5/37 (10), Canning 2/21 (6.4), Erasmus 1/13 (9)

Magical Ponies 2/135 (30.3)
Farmer 53* (95), Tedstone 38* (49), Burger 26 (29)

Magical Ponies HT Holdens
Top Order: mediocre respectable
Middle Order: superb mediocre
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: quality mediocre
Spin Bowling: proficient useless
Fielding: woeful feeble
MOTM: Potgieter

Fairly happy with those ratings, though spin could be better. Annoyed that I PANed that match, this team can get decent ratings, but it looks like they played for the loss. Could have done with a better RR though, I need all I can get to finish top four.

BTW Perm, I just noticed that you have Ricky Heard playing for you. He was in my starting team, and was my best bowler, notable feats including bowling five maidens in a row. Seems to be getting on now though.

Team Dominate 164-10

oz fans XI 165-2
Grahame* 82 (85 balls)

Really pleased to get the win. Grahame batted well and all the bowlers did a great job, with Wills the pick of the bunch.

Does anyone know how much it costs to buy back your own player? Bridges M is only going for £2.034M ATM, and the deadline's around 3pm BT time. I'm not going to let him go for less than £2.5M

Costs 5% and you can't relist for 42 days. I wouldn't worry, most of the bidding happens in the last three minutes anyway.

Decidedly average start from my side. We're 105/3 after 23 overs on a flat wicket. I have a feeling they're playing GFI, could be a close game...

The Heath CC: 105/3 (23) Grant 42 (60), Thorpe 41 (58)

Edit: Now 136/4 and my in form batsman is gone for 20. Not good.

Legends XI: 90

Harding 33*

Surprisingly easy win really, as both teams were 6-0 coming into the game

Well set heading into the slog overs:

End of Over 40: 240-2, runrate=6.00
Sheffield 10-0-49-1
Janes* 74 (61 balls)
Liebenberg 76 (114 balls)

Only slight fly in the ointment is that the league leader is in fairly serious danger of being beaten for the first time since he demoted from IV into our league (then chucked a playoff to camp for another season, ha ha). Annoying, because I wanted to be the first to do it, and thought I had a decent shot this season (my horrific result against him in the first match notwithstanding). Still, could make the battle for first place rather interesting come the end of the season...

Edit: and of course Liebenberg goes as soon as I post this. :)

Gunning my game on TIE right now against UfindUs CC

Fairly mediocre score on a flat wicket leaves the game wide open. 3 batsmen got out in the 40's, and Bartlett made 50 and promptly got out. Marrison hit 33* from 25 balls to boost the score at the end, but I'm not sure it'll be enough.

TIEing against Saint Barth Blondes, reasonable start on a slow pitch.

End of Over 6: 38-0, runrate=6.33
Howson 3-0-22-0

Ashton 27 (20 balls)

Cruising at the moment, should get more than enough despite not having a fifth bowler.

Ashton 92 (99 balls)

Finally back online after a microfilter broke on the internet connection. Got a big win against a team restructuring. Packer got a ton, Armstrong 180 and Pace a 6-fer.

Just got a backlog of crap to go through now... sigh.

You certainly played them at the right time, a few hours later and you'd have had a couple of guns to go up against. Elite bowler goes cheap, knew I should've listed someone.

Should win my match, made 301 with Watkins 99*.

End of Over 7: 26-1, runrate=3.71, reqrunrate=6.42 (301-5)
Downer 4-0-12-1
Baker* 4 (13 balls)
Whitman 22 (28 balls)
Last Wicket: Sargeant c. Harewood b. Downer 0 (FOW: 1/1)

Two down now, their best batsman goes for 22.
