Playing top of table clash on Friday looks like most of their team has poor stamina but still they get decent ratings will be interesting to see how far my team has come over the seasons.

Battrick will be shutting down for approximately 2 hours in about 1 hour from now. This is so we can move back to our original server which has now made the long journey from Sweden. All transfer deadlines during this period will be extended.

Just so people don't snap when they can't log in.

Do people reckon it is better to train a primary on a 17yo or fitness? I have a 17yo trainee with woeful stamina and only 2 nets available. Got him on 2 batting nets at the moment, but should I change one to fitness to get it upwards?

Well it depends on.

1. How urgently you want him in your first team on a regular basis.
2. How your nets will change it the next few seasons.

If you have nets being vacated at the end of this season or the next by all means wait for that net to become available but my main priority would to be training the primary while your trainee is still 17/18 because of the quicker training times!

Am a fan of getting the primaries up myself. Go the two batting nets at the moment, and as soon as a net opens up, give him that extra one. You can always increase stamina once he's older. That said, woeful is pretty crap. You could do something to similar to what I did with Canning; wait till he pops to, say, proficient, and then give one of the nets to stamina until it pops, then put it back on batting. Or just make space.

The BT server is run by ExtraLives, the company responsible for Hattrick (plus Popumondo, some sort of music star management sim). They were originally based in Sweden, Stockholm to be exact. A short time ago, the HT servers were moved en-masse to a server farm somewhere in central Europe - Switzerland, I think. Literally put in a truck and driven to their new location! HT is now approaching 1 million users, so it's just a little bit bigger than BT

Anyway, I'd guess that the old BT server didn't join them, and instead lived on one of the shiny big servers for a while. Now, the old BT server has made it to the server farm, so is being reinstated.

I do hope it isn't going to be slow slow slow from now on though

It does my head in the way they don't tell you squat about anything other than the server move. You've got to drag bits of information out bit by bit from mods in the sledging threads.

It seems to be even better than that: it sorts them by sublevel, not just main level. I've played around with it and in every case it matches how high I think my players are in their individual levels.

It wouldn't surprise me if Allan changes this, since it seems like they've tried to keep it that members don't get any extra game-related information they couldn't get otherwise (and thus no real in-game advantage), but for the moment it's rather interesting.

Edit: holy crap, I didn't even realise you can do this to other squads as well. I think this is too much information, to be perfectly honest. The game is verging on too observable as it is. I'm going to enjoy finding out whether I was right about how good some of my opponents' players are for tomorrow, but it'll take a bit of the fun out of trying to work it out for myself.

Well, that didn't take long; it looks like they've just this minute disabled the new sort info. In the middle of looking up my opponent for tomorrow they all disappeared. Same for my squad too.
