Geez, he could have been an awesome batsman if you'd given him ITS. I'd put him on the market, I'm sure you'll get a few thousand.

Chasing 317 in my friendly against geg, incidentally. Heading for a loss, I'd imagine.

Thought you'd skittle me for just under 300. You're chasing well at 6.00 an over, despite having lost 2 wickets. Should be close.

Two early wickets down, but we've recovered a bit since then. Need a big hundred from one of these two, though. Two decent batsmen to come, and then Pietersen at 7, who has been rubbish in both disciplines because of his crappy stamina.

17 off Weerappuli's first over. He'll be a key bowler, you'd imagine. Not going to score 7 an over off the spinners on this pitch, that's certain, so need to get plenty off the medium pacer.

Canning really won it for me, took 3-fer in his opening spell. No idea why Gibbins (72 off 71) got MOTM. Still, am very lucky to have won that looking at the ratings. Guess it was just my day.

Edit: First time I've pulled proficient spin too

In all honesty, I cannot believe I'm doing this well against Fullers team - again. He clearly has the better side (in terms of ratings, wages and ability).

Gah.. just lost to wilson by 5 wickets in the 46th... i really needed Meyer to take a bag as 225 isn't near enough runs on a Hard & Fast pitch.

Congrats :)

Somewhat surprised at my own bowling effort. Thought we'd get slaughtered (Gleeson and Weerappuli were getting tonked a bit) but we came back well. Thanks for the match, Fuller. I suspect if you bat first in our next encounter you'll win.

Solid 8-wicket win. Ralph bowled pretty well, though I think I'm going to revert to using Sets of 5 now, and have him bowl from overs 0-10 and 20-30. Mcmillan took the wickets of the last four batsmen, so he didn't bowl as well as it looks like he did. Still pretty happy with that - means my morale only continues to get better (I'm guessing it's max now). Also means I've got another home cup game... ooh... my hope is to win the next one, and then... probably be knocked out in Round 5. Great start to the season though. Ratings:

Suprisingly im still in the cup. Was at home and didn't think i had a chance so i was on TIE. The other team had a player playing for Pakistan but Mccammon took him on easily enough. I seem to be able to bowl teams out now as well, things are looking good! Allen had a great game on moderate fitness. And because it was a home game im stocking up my cash nicely again

Shire Sharks:

279 AO off 49.5

Sainsbury 5/52
Allen 3/57

Got Spin

Mccammon 148 off 112
Allen 68 off 73

Poor ratings, can't wait for Allen and Padaychie to get higher PFL though:

Oh dear. Here's the team that I'm facing -

Scottish Destroyers
Top Order: exquisite
Middle Order: woeful
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: proficient
Spin Bowling: superb
Fielding: woeful

He has two gun bats, one with wages of 80k and another of 20k. So I won't be getting the former out, but on a Green pitch, I think Ralph could get the latter cheaply and from there, he has little else. He has a gun spinner, with wages of around 15k, and two seamers who I would say are around Quality. It'll be a tough game... and I'd definitely rate myself as an underdog... but if I get lucky when I'm bowling, and have a bit of luck batting, I think I could be in with a shot.

Guys, I'm playing the Vague Vagrants in my next league match, and am at a loss as to whether I should TIE, PAN or GFI. Ratings (and mine):
Code:
The Vague Vagrants Magical Ponies
Top Order: respectable competent
Middle Order: competent respectable
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: strong proficient
Spin Bowling: useless proficient
Fielding: woeful woeful
We are playing at his ground (H+F atm) so any advantage I'd gain through having spinners would probably be negated. As the strong seam rating would suggest, he's got a good bowling line up (wages of 4398, 11102, 13006, 1335, 1128), whereas batting wise he's really only just got the one gun, and a few decent bats (opener of wage 10611, from there there's only a 4487 and a 6259 keeper) while the rest are all filler, and he's got a long tail with no allrounders. So if Canning and Tedstone can repeat their performance to today, there's a good chance I could bundle them out cheaply. Or would their bowling attack be too much, and should I just cut my losses and go the TIE? I know that he definitely wouldn't GFI against me, and chances are he'd TIE it, but I'm not sure.

Very easy win again:

Opponents all out for 46 then got 'em in 7 overs. Sekani took 5/17 and Mamello took 3/9. Left my order as it was 3 weeks ago and ratings didn't do so well.

All respectables...
