I'm too lazy to maintain my own spreadsheet, etc., and have somewhat sporadic access to BT, not being able to access it at work...and with a home laptop that's currently dead.

I've found that "BAT", the Java-based Battrick Assistant Tool, works well for basic stuff, but you'll need to keep your own records separately if you're keeping close track on training times, etc. Don't know if it's there as a link, but I'm sure it's easily found on Google.

After 20 sodding minutes of clicking (damn mobile phone browser + silly ITS mechanism), I've ended up with a Gilchrist wannabe:

Code:
[B]Keith Fish[/B] (1058373)
Destructive LH Bat
BTR 5,569
Wages 1,417
Stam: Abysmal WK: [B]Respectable
[/B]Bat: [B]Competent [/B]Conc: Abysmal
Bowl: Worthless Cons: Woeful
Fielding: Abysmal
That was with 12 ITS on WK and batting, 2 on conc, 4 on cons, 3 on stamina and 2 on fielding.

I'm pulling for training rather than profit, with the intention that Fishy starts the season with batting and WK nets - about halfway through the season*, he'll get fielding and an extra batting net.

* When Brooker and Hirst should both pop to Remarkable bowling.

In two seasons' time, he'll have Proficient conc/cons, or thereabouts, with Quality WK and Superb Batting. I hope. That'll be good enough to usurp my current Strong WK.

Just a pity he's destructive - I could do with more defensive batsmen.

I'm using Batman (second in the list of links on the main site), and think it's pretty ace. You get little coloured graphs of your players' training progress and everything. You've just got to keep up to date by pasting in the source code of your squad page once a week or more; it parses it and does all the rest for you. If you can be bothered, you can do the same with the nets page and it'll store who got what nets each week.

The only thing I haven't found in it is wage monitoring, but then my players all work for food anyway.

Looks like I'll finish 4th or 5th again in my league next season. The 6 teams that could stay did, so there's just two new teams and they don't look too much cop.

Need to sort out that link thing on BT, doesn't have CW on it and it has Cricinfo as the premier cricket site on the net. :nono:

Anyone know how high his batting is? Not too bad really, would have liked a competent keeper though. Should replace my existing keeper, using a batting net, a keeping net and a stamina net.

Flippin' heck he's a bit good. Will be prof in like few weeks too with 2 nets.

Some awesome YPs coming through at the moment, hopefully they'll flood onto the market and I'll snap them up.

As is yours JJ. Think your man is pretty close to popping to competent Nibbs as I have comps with <£500 wages.

I've whacked him on 2 bowling nets for now. I'm no expert, but I'm aiming for a pop in 1-2 weeks. Finally pushes Hignett out of the starting XI, and I predict he'll be in my side for a long, long time to come. Gun :D
