yeah, I'd take Bardle, to be honest... Secondaries are very important, but 2 primary levels can mean the difference between ripping a side apart single-handedly.

Both absolute guns though, I would definitely not turn Hook down.

Hook should pop to quality either this or next week.

yeah but

9. Santosh Islam - 20 yo, BT Rating=55,718
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with mediocre leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: abysmal Concentration: respectable
Bowling: quality Consistency: sensational
Fielding: mediocre

is close to remarkable but i'd still take Bardle.

he's a year younger than Hook (and Islam) as well.

It's just a perceived gap between quality and remarkable, for me it's just a huge step up. If, say, he's remarkable/exquisite and Bardle is exceptional/quality, then it'd be a much closer call.

If it was which player I would rather have in my team, it would be Bardle, due to the age difference, but if it was for a one-off game, then it'd be very close.

points taken, anyone got any advice on tactics i might use against the top placed team in my league called DNB Science. I usually open up with Hook and let him bowl 10 through but i figure he wont be able to run through them so im using him at 5 and in the last 10 to save as many runs as possible. I also usually open the batting with my best 2 bats, should i change the batting order around too?

Don't make me post Whitehorne. Don't have any young guns though.

Just added up all my transfers (using this):

Total Purchases: 14,973,578
Total Sales: 14,498,908
Difference: -474,670
Number bought: 37
Number sold: 46
Average (bought): 404,691
Average (sold): 315,194

I put Ladbroke Rovers' in there as well, they've done around 34m in transfers each way.

Hahaha, by pure coincidence I was just looking at DNB Science (the guy made a post in my league sledging). I would open with him to bowl his full 10 if I were you. Your best chance of winning is Hook ripping through his top order and allowing Tahir & Mcfadden to chase an easy target. If you save him till last, then they'll just run riot against your other bowlers. All or nothing...

Can you please work mine out? The new Excel is heaps different to the old one, there's no 'Tools' menu and so on.

Would like to see Labrooy's, tbh. Has a squad of 60 odd last time I checked.
