i would want west indies/south africa/new zealand to win....because SA came close most of the times to winning it all....new zealand has always been consistent....and neither of them won it before....west indies winning it would be great with their current form and what a view it would seeing the crowd as their home team won....I would absolutly hate it if Aus won....

West Indies - I think it would be fitting if Brian Lara won the World Cup for the great player he is. Plus I like Chris Gayle, Shiv Chanderpaul, Dwayne Bravo and Jerome Taylor - they're great players.

For mine, it came down to a choice between the Windies and the Saffers. I choose South Africa, because they've come close but never won, despite being one the better teams since re-admission.

Sincerely hoping to not see an Australian win - for obvious reasons - or India, for the reasons outlined by Faaip.

Quite a few people would like to see Bangladesh win the World Cup because it would finally be a sucess for Bangladesh cricket, they have been given Test status for a while now and they would only get better if they won the World Cup.
