Well, he took Graeme Smith's wicket as well, although it wasn't given out.Ming said:Did he threaten to take that wicket?
I wouldn't say Gilchrist is back-in-form yet. A few more good knocks and he will be.Ming said:Now Gilchrist is back in form, let's flag the experiment and play Bracken as the first change seamer with MacGill and Warne as the spinners.
No way man. Batting was the thing that cost us the Ashes, and frankly our middle-order still looks brittle. There's no way they can afford to drop a specialist bat. In my view, Symonds should not tour South Africa. If Watson gets through two Pura Cup games and does reasonably well, I would re-instate him at six, and take Michael Clarke as the reserve batsman on the South African tour.Ming said:Now Gilchrist is back in form, let's flag the experiment and play Bracken as the first change seamer with MacGill and Warne as the spinners.
1 knock doesn't mean back in form though does it?Ming said:Now Gilchrist is back in form, let's flag the experiment and play Bracken as the first change seamer with MacGill and Warne as the spinners.

I'd prefer him to be dropped this time next year after a series with 120 runs @ 12 (95 in one innings) and 2 wickets @ 200.Ming said:I don't care. Anything that means Symonds is out of the Test side.
