My only worry was Red Hill snatching him right at the end but the backups for Warne were decent enough so I thought it was worth risking it.Nice
If I'd gotten Smith or Tendulkar earlier I probably would have taken Warne, but as it was I really needed one a-grade batsman for #3 in this round. Would have taken any of the 3 Ws, so Warne was always pretty safe.My only worry was Red Hill snatching him right at the end but the backups for Warne were decent enough so I thought it was worth risking it.
Not often Lawry, Simpson, Barrington, Dravid, Kohli and Waugh are outclassed. But Hobbs, Morris, Lara, Weekes, Paynter and Sobers is just crazy good. Two of the top 4 batsmen in history.AndrewB finishes with the best top order so far
Lara is probably top 10. I don't think top 5 though. Bradman, Hobbs, Smith, Sobers and then things get a lot more debatable.I would say 3 of the top 5. BTW, whose turn is it now?
AndrewB's side will take some beating when we do the voting. Trundler's is good but the #6 and #7 kinda bring it down a notch. Can't find any such issue with Andrew's.

Two top-tier openers, a solid middle order, a top keeper, and a more than decent pace attack.
Regretting my pick of Qadir, but he's still a great bowler.
The middle order all average highly in the position they are batting, which is always a plus.
Would have preferred my final two picks to be Steyn and Wasim/Trueman but it's not like I picked duds at all.
Overall, a pretty solid side.
