Why? Did he do it against minnows?
mostly obliterated some dreadful batting lineups in extremely helpful conditions with great support, 1992-93 New Zealand batting just isn't it outside of Crowe, and Crowe had a huge series against Waqar and Wasim that year. Good batters found an answer to him constantly, it's not like Imran who was actually unplayable to even great batting lineups.

his big series against NZ is just him bullying an actual garbage batting lineup, the only great batter was Crowe who constantly countered both Wasim and Waqar

Yeah it's a tad overrated. However, he did well against WI home and away. But he wasn't a great new ball bowler at the time, got hammered often.

like that series, don't think it's as impressive as sounds on paper but definitely his best series
