But realistically any of them could bat anywhere and it’d work fine.

This is definitely better than having Kallis at 6. Smith is a much better batsman with the tail.

Just to clarify, where will the allrounder position be? Because a Miller/Botham/Faulkner could be no.6 conceivably to allow for 5 bowling options.

Whereas later in the order, would prefer a Wasim/Pollock/Davidson type as third seamer.
