Similar to the point raised about Worrell, I'd suggest to shift Mohinder Amarnath from all-rounders to batsmen to give him a realistic chance to get selected in case someone rates his batting higher than Vishy, Laxman, Umrigar, Ganguly, Vengsarkar.

Unclear of the balance for the SA side as picking Eddie Barlow would be a very capable 5th bowler yet he isnt listed as an allrounder and the team could easily be carrying 6 bowlers in this format.

Hey KK, have a couple more:

1) Australia shouldn't have 2 all-rounders from that lot, I think. It makes it impossible to choose all 4 of McGrath, Lillee, Warne, and O'Reilly. Which is sad.

2) Instead of Dwayne Bravo, one of Learie Constantine and Collie Smith is perhaps a better second all-rounder choice for the Windies.

3) Mohinder Amarnath should definitely be in the middle order bats section.

Fair enough @ harsh.ag - done!

I thought I had already moved Jimmy to the batting pool. Correct now @ weldone

The normal awards that everyone else has
As harsh said, the bonus of an Aust XI only having one all rounder is that you can pick Miller in the top six, who allows you to pick Warne AND O'Reilly if you want to.

Trumper
Morris
Bradman
Chappell
Miller
Border
Gilchrist
Warne
Lillee
O'Reilly
McGrath

The Aust team should really only have 1 AR, because if it's taken as a given that we'll have Gilly, we have two anyway.

Edit- see you've corrected that

Personally believe Chappell was a good enough bowler to be the all rounder for this team without weakening the batting. Additionally Davidson as the third seamer would bring even greater variety and potency to the attack as well as being a good lower order bat and fielder.

See signature below for full team.

Personally I'd take Davidson over O'Reilly as Aussies already have the best ever leg spinner but yeah Miller at 6 and Gilchrist at 7 takes care of it so 4 bowlers would not be such a bad idea.

**** me we've really been blessed with leggies. Nobody from any country really comes close to em. (Barnes doesn't count)

Chadrasekhar, Gupte, and Kumble are a good lot as well :) But Australia have definitely had the best bunch.

Sorry but the NZ selection is kind of weird....

You've put Chris Pringle in there... Chris Pringle??????? 30 test wickets at an average of 46.... I think you're thinking of someone else. Dion Nash maybe? Tim Southee, Tony MacGibbon, Frank Cameron.... even Neil bloody Wagner....

Bruce Taylor isn't in the list anywhere. I'd put him as a bowler rather than an allrounder.

Lance Cairns was never an allrounder.

Any NZ middle order list that doesn't include Martin Donnelly is seriously lacking. Dempster is more of an opening option.

Bevan Congdon is better than Geoff Howarth Could even be worth a mention in the allrounder slot though in truth no-one's going to pick him for the top xi.

A bit lacking in West Indian wicket-keepers. The Cricinfo best ofs went all funky with Jackie Hendriks I think in their all-time West Indian side as a much better keeper to spin than either Walcott or Dujon. Derryck Murray another option. Gerry Gomez is a much better allrounder than Dwayne Bravo though with Sobers in there it's all a bit irrelevant anyway.

Kk, Can you please provide an option to select both Miller and Davidson in the same team (maybe by dropping Davidson to bowlers)? I'd like both in my All-Time Aussie XI.

What's the purpose of having a defined team combo KK?
I couldnt keep the combinations fixed ( i.e., 2 all-rounders fixed as India, Pak, SL would have struggled to provide the 2nd one ) in the fear of fan bois ruining the team combinations since its an open voting system.
