You have to remember that Morgan represented Ireland at the 2007 WC. For Ireland he scored 91 runs in 9 innings @10 , SR 50.84.

So..... should we just not count it??

How does that change anything? It's still the World Cup.

There were 6 other Irish batsman who scored more runs than him in the 2007 WC and 10 who had a better average.

Cause it's not for England , that Irish team wasn't even fully professional, Morgan was practically a kid I wouldn't count it against him.

Besides it's not like he didn't know how to perform at tournaments..

His Champions Trophy record is very good and in the World Cup that ENGLAND WON he scored 371 runs @41 SR 111.

I won't call 371@41 especially at 111 SR in 2019 particularly Great really. When you consider he scored 148 vs Afghanistan and without it, his stats read 223@27.8, 84.7 SR. I won't remove it completely, but it was a very moderate WC by him; all of Roy, Bairstow, Root and Stokes were hugely superior.
Don't really think CT can be compared with a WC

Almost all the other English batsman did far better though. 3 of them averaged over 60. Butler was the only one that under performed, but he had that incredible 59 in the finals to his name.

Morgan also averaged 18 at a SR of 65 in the 2015 World Cup

I’d honestly largely just go with the 2019 side but get Flintoff into it and maybe Swann
