Great performance by the academy boys there, i am happy with that game even though we lost. I dont expect much from them, especially against the more favoured teams. Butwe still are giving the favourites a little scare here and there.

V Chandrasekh is on fire, 150odd in his first game, 42 odd and 60 odd lastgame, this game scores 53 and 56 to be the 2nd highest run getter in the 4D comp. Special mention to Charles who got 58, 3/34 and 3/74, great all round perforamnce by him in his first All Stars match.

Owell, was a good game and getting beat by 104 rruns is acceptable by my standards.

We can only look forward toplaying the UK boys, we thrashed them on their home soil, and i bet they want to return the favour to us. So it will be a good game.

With a Matthew Elliot like outburst Guyana Manager has hit out at the Rest of The World 4 Day selectors by expressing his bemusement at the non-selection of Guyana's Four Day Player of the Season Younis Cole.
"I can't believe the Rest of the World Selectors have not played one of the most exciting young players they have available, I mean Younis was a shining light in our team and took over forty wickets for the season and scored quite a few runs aswell, how he can not make the first eleven is beyond me."
Mister Wright likened the non-selection to that of Clinton Shifcofske in the Queenlsand State of Origin Side.
"I mean, like Clinton, Younis isn't the most spectacular of players, but he puts in a solid performance every week and never lets anyone down."
"I called Younis immediately after I heard the result of The Rest of The World's loss to Oceania to see how he was holding up, and all credit to the kid, he said he didn't mind sitting on the sidelines and biding his time.
"He has a strong heart and will give his all, but If I was manager he would be one of the first players I would pick, because I know his attitude and I know his potential, I just hope he doesn't get too let down by his missed opportunities. If he isn't going to play I would rather have him back in Guyana with the boys getting ready for next season."
The Rest of the World selectors were not available for comment.

Round 5 of the Four Day All Star series was run today with some very close games..
Only 1 side is assured of a Finals berth going into the last round, but amazingly all other teams are capable of grabbing the final spot, which leaves some interesting games going into Round 6...

Also blewy, with you submiting the new games, and some are doubling up from 1day to 4day and vice versa, the older scorecards have been deleted.


BTW Academy had a good result considering they were a foot in the grave in that match after shocking performances, thank god we came away with some points instead of none.

Well The qualifying rounds are finally over...

Some good games to finish us off before the finals..

I am also pleased to say all teams met the qualification standards so nobody will be expelled from the finals..
