All out for 21

We had a school cricket game where we were all out for 33 or something, and I wasn't happy as I opened, batted with about 5 partners, then I started hitting a couple of fours and then got run out by a bunny who just wanted to get off the mark too desperately.

lol my worst score in a team is 61 i think(the grass was about 5 inches high...was sick! and the pitch(coconut pitch \o/) was all wet :P we had them 5 down :P but they won :P

We play in a carpet pitch and the out field is mudered.It is srrounded with thick grass no matter how hard you hit the ****ing ball still it wont touch the boundry rope.

Where do you play?? I'll be trying to get a few games when I go visit relatives in the states.

Yeh, our local comps are on carpet, too (altho your First Class comps are on carpet lol) and it is a fair bit of maintenance involved in a cricket oval.

Well, my team scored 202 today, that's 181 more than 21

Rosanna eh.. my worst team score would be playing for my school, we were playing on some crap oval that I didn't know we even OWNED. It was a paddock in the middle of Hawthorn next to the Yarra (Fairview Oval or something). Since it was next to the Yarra, we had to use a synthetic ball.. and since only Wesley College are cheap enough to train with synthetic balls, they had the advantage.. and scored about 250, to our 100 odd.

ok so here we go the match on sunday,optimistic cc(my club) vs standford cd.

The captain of standford won the toss he decided to bat first.
The first 15 overs we got a good beating from the opening batsman,The fielders were inside the circle and the standford batsman did the right thing by hitting the bowl hard and over the fielders.Then the my captain krish decided to go himself.He bowled one over giving 14 runs away(very very bad bowling)he bowled full tosses twic and he did pay the price.Then it was my turn to bowl(off spin right arm) i bowled the first over good.The bloody keeper dropped a catch off my bowling it was a thick edge.I bowled 1 over giving 5 runs away.Then the next over the captain brough back the opening bowler.Unfortunately the opening bowler of or's gave two 6 away.

Then i came to bowl with 9 wickets down.The batsman were looking to hit the ball hard as usual because not too many overs were left.I bowled a doosra and the batsman came down the track trying to hit over mid on he missed and was stumped brilliantly by the keeper.

we end up losing i made 18 i hit one four and i took one wicket.
We are currently at number 4 we have to do well this time.We have win the next game .

Another one for beduff fourth team. 13 all out chasing 336 in the 2004 season. Lost by 322 runs in a 45 over game. Top score was extras: 7. Batting at 9 i scored 2. Second top batsmens score.

Well, we made 202 last week and won by 28 runs this week. They couldn't make our total and we got them 9 down. I didn't get to bowl, however the runup at one end was impossible, so we had to bowl spin from that end all day, and there were only 2 medium bowlers used. Still, I think it's a bit rough, that's twice I've batted either 10 or 11 and not bowled. I'm gonna have a word to the captain.

Have to wait another week. Match was washed out and has been converted to a 40-over match. Which swings the match in the other team's favour. We struggle to make 100 in One-Dayers.
