Lot of indian and Pakistan players used to fake their age which i think is norm in pakistan and north india. Many like wasim waqar miandad kapil sehwag dhoni afridi etc. I think even kohli and babar are two to three years elder then what they claim

The bloke who played yesterday for Punjab Kings, Priyaansh Arya, is an example of the stringency of this rule in India. BCCI mandates that people should be tested for Bone Density at the U17 level, failing which they are not even allowed to participate in the U19 level. So this guy Arya, since he did not sign up and test in the U17 level, was barred from representing India in the U19 WC where Jaiswal was POTS.

Sorry, it was the TW3 test - it checks out bone age, but for some reason it registered as bone density in my head.
