Easy one to get it up and running again.

Who was the notable player to miss out on the Brownlow Medal in the same year as James Hird and Michael Voss?

Corey McKernan and it was such a shame as well because McKernan's 1996 season was the greatest single season I have ever seen from anyone in all my time watching footy.

Which two teams played in the last ever game at Waverley?

Hawthorn v Sydney in '99. There was an article in The Herald Sun about Waverley Park earlier this week.

OT - McKernan's younger brother is coming through the system atm and is said to be a similar player, the Roos are likely to pick him up this year or the next.
