Alrite I'm wrong on the Lawson count,i forgot to check the Guyana squad..but there is absolutely no mention of Laxmypathy Balaji anywhere and i only mentioned the team because Agronaut was only recruiting from existing teams.

I disagree here - those players are now in the game, and as such don't bear as much resemblance to real life players.

If you're resetting players, where do you draw the line, because I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't mind having some of their players reaveraged, but that's against the spirit of the thing.

I dont want my players reaveraged cos Agarkar is actually useful at the moment.

He most defiently was, he was the clubs (and country) 2nd highest wicket taker just behind fellow team mate M.Saggers in real life, and I very much regret lossing him.

You can have him back cos hes failed to impress so far this season.

I am only interested in adding rookie players from existing teams(just in case we add more teams in future). Imagine if you took a side and their star players were already in the comp and you missed out on them. Nibblet, agemaster and Aditya could you let me know which state or province sides these guys play for. If they play for Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka or Colts then I will add them. If not they will be left out.

I imagine I will be culling 20-30 players from the existing pool.

As for who gets who in the end that will be left to the end of season draft.

I dont think teams will be added in the near future so the players who r not in the teams participating in wcc should also get a look in.This will make is more realistic as they are real rookies.Atleast 5 from each major country should be added who are easy to find.Thats around 30-40 real rookie players which will make the draft more interesting.

Thanks guys for the extra names. I will add D Chougale, N Aiyappa, N Shetty and B Thakkar to the list. A couple of the others either don't have enough stats or they're not great stats and can be recommended again next season. Satish and Badrinath are already somewhere in the system somewhere, I'm pretty sure. I will leave J Anderson out so that there is no confusion. P Collingwood plays for Durham so won't be considered.

On that last point, I will have enough players for this series without raiding other sides. If it appears that there will be no further expansion when it comes time to run the next academy series then we will have a look at the other teams.

1/ Muzza is correct that J.Anderson is the Jimmy Anderson we all know...

I remember researching him myself...

2/ I agree with Marc that resetting Averages is not right... I mean a prime example would be Michael Clarke when he was entered into the game he had not played alot of 1st class cricket and his average was not that high, if we changed his average then it would be unfair on Bugs as he released him based on his previous average.....


3/ Satish, Rueben Paul and Badrinath are all in WCC if i am correct.... Rueben Paul is in my SA team and im pretty sure the others are here somewhere...

4/ Same as above for L.Balaji... I remember him and Balaji Rao both in TN Season 1...

5/ To be honest i don't think there will be any new teams added in the forseeable future, so its up to you Jason whether you want to add them or not, but you could also leave them till next season...

I think to be honest there is enough leaway in the English Counties to add a couple of complete teams into the draw, as there are still many avalible and I can't see Blewy adding them all in the near future.

Afterall there's still the following 7 avalible:-

- Derbyshire
- Durham
- Essex
- Gloucestershire
- Northamptonshire
- Nottinghamshire
- Sussex

In which case you could go through all the minor teams from the WC and add a few of the better players (that have played FC cricket).

If its so then the players i mentions earlier can be added.I would love to see them.All of those who i have mentioned have good avges and have played around 20 matches.

ive done some re search on jack smith and here are his stats.
none of his games are fc matches but are 2nd x1 or games against touring sides.
his fc average may seem high as he has only played 10 games and scored 250+ not out against new Zealand for ACT 2 seasons ago.
same with his 1d average as he scored a 50 not out for Pm's 11 against NZ again a few weeks later
