They didn't buy us the cup. They just bought as a few players who helped us to the cup.
Seriously though, i don't see how it helped us as much as people say, players would have stayed at the club anway. Plus, people just say that when they're jealous....sydney got the same benefits, but i didn't hear a peep from anyone last year.

It was all started by eddie and collingwood when they realised that we had become a good team, instead of the easy-beats they imagined when they voted in favour of the merge.
