Hmmm... might have to accept that my prediction that St Kilda will fall off a bit this year was based on a dislike rather than any sound theory. Pretty handy football team. That said, it will be interesting to see how they go if Riewoldt misses time with that hammy.

Woeful kicking by the Pies, but that might also reflect the pressure the Saints exerted. I'm going to have to revise down my predictions for Collingwood based on what I've seen so far this year - unless Cloak and Anthony can discover some form, or someone else (Rusling, Reid maybe - pretty slim hopes) we're not going to be a genuine contender. :(

Kosi's suspension becomes more important now.

Think that they'll get by, because their structure is so strong.

Also, was Malthouse the coach when Sheedy threatened Mitchell White for West Coast? Didn't cover himself in glory, Mick.

Epic turnaround for Boomer. Surely after years of people beating up their midget, WCE should have a better idea as to how to ruin a runt's day?

Mick and Licuria both had a go. Wonder what Mick said to Milne to get him so upset? "No means no" perhaps?

Okie, I'm not the most in the loop but why the **** are the Tigers $8.50 tonight in a two horse race against Sydney? Tempted to put a sly tenner on it but would I just be better of lighting it on fire?

Latter IMO. It's the tigers they've been useless for the best part of 30 years

Sydney are extremely tough to beat at home, they've started the season on fire, Richmond are travelling and they stink.

Can keep going if you want.

40-4 at quarter time. Heh, thankfully I held back. Might watch the game on One instead. Not sure I could handle the other one any longer.

What does everyone think of the Swans chances this year?

I know belting the Tigers isn't all that much to crow over, but we matched St Kilda most of the way and we did all you would expect against two teams looking to be beaten. Bradshaw looks an able replacement for BBBH (though slightly less awesome), Seaby and Mumford are able replacements for Jolly, and along with McGlynn, Hanneberry, Kenelly and Jetta we've added alot to our team this year. We still have the spine of the 05/06 team in the side playing well, and a smattering of superstars (Goodes, O'Keefe).

I reckon we'll make the 8 easily, and may even push for a spot in the 4.

Will be nearly unbeatable at home and will push many teams interstate, you could be right.
