Awesome comeback from Carlton, but I think Adelaide should be safe now. Welsh standing up big time.

Mattner's an absolute gun as well. Huge last term.

Interestingly enough, I was at Canberra airport today as the Bulldogs arrived (read about how I managed to restrain myself from running over Aker with a baggage trolley in Made/Ruined my day), and even as Eade and the other lads were getting their stuff from the baggage carosel and heading out of the airport, Chris Grant and Robert Murphy (I think, the bloke Anthony Rocca broke the knee off last year) were walking into the departure lounge and ended up getting on a flight back to Melbourne. They weren't in the team tracksuits like the rest of the guys either. Didn't see anything about them being in town for publicity during the week or what have you, but surely they wouldn't have flown up and then turned around straightaway and gone home...

**** You Collingwood :@:@ lions couldn't have caught a train, or hit shed wall from point blank range :(

If theres one thing we can take away from the game is Mitch Clark being awesome, if the rest of the team could've learnt how to kick straight it would have been handy.... :@:@

Farcical.

I've fired off an email to SEN over that disgusting decision. Demetriou, Anderson and the band of merry men have ****ed this game completely.

I hate Richmond, but I feel sorry for them tonight.

What disgusting decision? The one against Richo were he clearly had hands in the back?

Haha! Clearly?

Even if there was a free kick (which I clearly don't think there was), the rule is a complete joke (surprise surprise) and the fifty was worse (it was clear as day that nobody heard the whistle).

For that to be a free kick - particularly at that stage of the game - is stupid. It was in no way push in the back, so you have to feel for the Tigers supporters.

How long until this costs someone a Grand Final.

That has been a freekick all year and there have been way worse ones been paid last year for example go back last night when Riewoldt got one against Dodd for just a touch. The free was clearly there according to the rules. The 50 wasn't however as Mcphee got away with something similar in the 3rd quarter.

Just 'cause Riewoldt got a worse one doesn't make this one any more right. There was no hand in the back tonight at all, and its a poor free.

If I've got the same one as you for Riewoldt last night (I was at the game), I believe that was for arm over the shoulder which was there at first glance.

Mate i was in the 2nd row directly were Richo infringed. It was pretty clear cut that there was a hand in the back. From the replay it makes it more clear. While the push didnt have alot of force, the rule is in the rulebook. NO hands in the back are aloud.

Farrrrrrrrrk, nearly had a heart attack at the end.

Questions will be asked of how the Dees were let back in, but 4 points are 4 points.
