Interesting to see if Clarke plays on. I think one of the main motivating factors pushing him towards retirement would have been the fact that he wasn't guaranteed a spot in the side next year, as Hudson will be back. With Biglands out, Clarke will play the whole season if he wants to.

Hudson will come back in as the number one ruckman and Meesen will come on next year to become the number two ruckman. Clarke would only be used as backup, IMO.

Yeah, possibly. Clarke had a pretty good year though, and I think if they were confident enough about Meesen to have him be a regular in the side they would have picked him this year when Clarke was injured, instead of Maric.

Hopefully Meesen will get a run either way. He's got to be better than Maric, and I want to see what the hype is about.
