In other news, Leppitsch has retired. He was a dead set gun, up forward early in his career, and then down back for the Lions. He almost perfected the art of zoning off your man as a defender.
There's plenty softer then Caracella. The two other times he has got stretchered off haven't exactly been minor hits. He isn't built to go in hard, so he just floats around the ground working to his strengths.Great Birtannia said:I saw the Caracella hit live before walking away from the tv, so I didn't see the replays, and didn't think much of it at the time. He has a reputation for being soft and the J.Brown one looked a lot worse in real time and he got up and played on.
Along with the Hunter into the fence at Skilled it makes you sit back and think that the players really are risking their lives, or quality there of, by taking the field every week.
Nice work by Demetriou at a press conference describing today's game being played at break neck speed when quizzed about the incident

How? There was no high contact...Buddhmaster said:It was a free kick, but definetly nothing else.
So does everyone else who lays a bump.Buddhmaster said:If you watch the replay which shows Ablett's face, he clearly has eyes only for Punda.
