Thought Reiwoldt wasn't doing media anymore?
Nah Martin didn't hurt the Tigers as we told him where to go. Culture is still the same.Hinkley's words about team work and his leaders not being 'selfish' are ringing true at the Crows/Tigers
Both club's cultures have been dented by the selfish acts of Dangerfield/Martin.
Similar to Bryce Gibbs, he publically announced he won't sign until he has assurances about the clubs future as if he is God's gift to the club. Absolutely no need, as a leader, to say it publically as he would know better than most the media circus it would create.
Matchwinner Dangerfield’s impact in the first three rounds has been severely restricted by the rough-house tactics of close-checking taggers who are intent on hurting him physically.
Damningly, his Adelaide teammates have largely stood by and watched, rather than standing up for him and letting his opponents, who have included Sydney’s Ben McGlynn and Geelong’s Cameron Guthrie (Geelong), know their actions won’t be tolerated.
While the best clubs have enforcers — Luke Hodge (Hawthorn), Ryan Crowley (Fremantle), Joel Selwood (Geelong) and Nick Maxwell (Collingwood) — who look after their teammates, the Crows have earned the unwanted reputation of being a bunch of nice guys.
