Well one if not both of them will be gone for sure this year. So he was spot on about this.

Terry Wallace saying on SEN that the decisions of 2009 and 2010 have been the main cause as to why MElbourne are as pathetic as they are right now. One caller made a good point - tanking culture + way James McDonald was treated + recruitment + leadership choices have been pathetic. Saying Neeld isn't to blame, those who made the decisions back then are.

Personally I think its a combination. The management and board may have reduced the debt but they've assisted in the destruction of the culture of the club. At the same time, as Benchy said, Neeld chose a lot of this team. But importantly, he lost the players so early on in his tenure - I've never seen anything like it. And stuff like disrespecting Melbounre's senior players and treating the whole team like they are school kids at the outset was a big reason for that.
