Lol Crows. Lions did everything they could to throw it away but Crows still lost. Crazy stuff.

If they still manage minor premiers, they really will be the worst I've ever seen.

Mark Harvey and Voss to get that bloke who went inside, and put him in a handicap match in the boxing ring.
That was Rockliff, the same guy who kicked the winning goal lol.

Rich was epic in the centre square in that last minute. So good from him.

Was in the car picking up some stuff, hopped out of the car and North were four goals down.

Finished a Skype call with my folks, they were 20 points up... whaaa?

Never mind Brisbane and the pretender North Numpties, the big winners last night were the Swans. Great results for Sydney, assuming they seal the deal this arvo.

This time next week North v Freo

If Freo win, Carlton almost certainly can't make the 8

If North win, Carlton almost certainly will make the 8

Reading the ladder as it currently stands, it seems if the Swans beat Hawthorn next week they'll be minor premiers, won't they? Barring a massive percentage battering in the last round from Geelong?

Fairly dispiriting day of football, to be honest.

To be clear, there's always been **** teams, and **** games.

There's just too many of them now, in my learned opinion.

18 teams - they've reached a tipping point.

The number one question, in my view, when you expand the comp, should be not the demographics/corporate support of the area, or the TV deal, but rather....just where are you going to get the extra 35 players for the new team from? This consideration is just not prominent enough when expansion comes up.

Agreed. It's why North needs to merge with Melbourne and the Dogs.

16 the right number..

Nah, the biggest issue is not the quality of players, it's two fold:

- how the start-up teams have decided to go about building their team
- the delayed focus on development, in terms of coaching resources, by some of the sides that are now struggling (Melbourne and Port Adelaide, and Richmond only catching up in the past two years)
