Round Two Tipping Update

Heef joins in a week late, so as per how I score other tipping comps, I'm letting him join on the lowest actual score minus one (Vimes's 3 - 1 = 2).

Very good scoring across the board. No fewer than five fixtures received unanimous backing for the victors & just Johnners, in a misguided display of pro-QLDitis, took the Lions to beat Carlton. Only other breaks from the consensus were benchy, Jono & Johnners backing Freo and, somewhat surprisingly IMHO, only dav, Norway & me backing the victorious reigining Premiers.

Was Sunday bloody Sunday just gone, wasn't it? Seriously, that was pretty ordinary fare. I certainly don't expect essentially kids in their 1st or 2nd years of footy to be any better than they were. My point is more broad - Australia simply doesn't have the population to have an 18 team competition in any sport. I don't mind the location of these two new teams, and would like to see a team in Tassie one day. But there's simply not the talent to go around, and I doubt there ever will be, to have these new teams in addition to the existing teams.
