Yeah, common sense had to prevail then.Cracking day, beautiful weather, brilliant bowling, good times. Only slightly spoilt by the mindlessly bureaucratic decision to go off for the tea break with 12 needed.
I'm just seeing a lot of sloggers in their batting lineup. You could say the same thing about us but most of our hitters have performed at Test level whereas I'm not convinced Finch, Bailey and Watson will be able to stand up to good bowling.Yeah, maybe. They've looked good, but possibly in a similar boat to us in that they've been flattered by mediocre opposition. One way to find out...

Yeah, awesome. But England and Pakistan have had a bad time of it!
Watching the replay with my dad and tens of thousands of people chanting Southee's name brings chills.
The swing was the centre piece live but on a rewatch it's the lines and his use of the crease you notice. The English have no idea whether he's bowling on or just outside off stump and then they miss it anyway (or edge it).
10 of South Africa's to just two players...
To be fair to south africa faf du plessis can be pretty good too.10 of South Africa's to just two players...
the likely answer to this is pretty simple - food and beverage supplier contracts. They're probably guaranteed a certain structure of play with a guaranteed amount of lunch/dinner break time for people to spend money on terrible overpriced food and drink. It's frustrating for fans but I understand the reasoning behind it.Only slightly spoilt by the mindlessly bureaucratic decision to go off for the tea break with 12 needed.
