Nah, he was just trying to get the bowlers off their lengths, it happens when you are trying to accelerate.

Dhoni is so not the batsman of old. It sucks to see him unable to put away easy deliveries.

SL's plan literally is just bowling outside off asking the opposition to hit on the far end of the ground. Not a bad plan if you can execute it well.
