Except that isn't how it's work for a while now.

Games are being won in the last 20. First powerplay is no longer where runs are needed most. Wickets are faaaaar more important.

Wonder if Matthew Hayden realises the majority of Bangladesh's 156 million people live below the poverty line when quoting that number.

Quite a bit worse than Sri Lanka in that respect, even if SL's population is about 20 million.

The bbl final pitch there was a bit slow throughout, but really it's a pitch that doesn't break up much from the matches I've seen.
