How does it make sense to put a highly successful Test number 3 in at 7 in the ODI side?

Mominul is, theortetically, the best number 3 in the side. Even if he can play 7, he really shouldn't.

Batting Marmadoola at 7 would be a huge mistake. Batting Shakib or Rahim lower would likely be one too. I personally would have batted him at 3. But I don't think moving him to 7 instead of moving everyone else down 1 is a big error. Mominul has potential as a guy who can strike boundaries with fielders in.

Would rather go Mominul - Mamudullah - Shakib - Mushy - Sarkar tbh. Or even better not pick Sarkar and let Sabbir/Ziaur Rahman lay 7/8.

Shapoor bowling a lot better here than he did against India.

I see him the same way I see Rahane tbh. Has gunned it in tests... very inconsistent in ODIs, but bags of potential, and will kick on once he gets his spot in the lineup and his head sorted out.

And I only just realised they look a scary lot like each other. Rahane basically looks like a happier Mominul.
