This is good from Archer to Smith. Keeping it on or around off-stump, not getting carried away with the short stuff, just good consistent line and length bowling at pace. Need to stick at it for a prolonged period, properly test him out, instead of doing it for 2 overs and then going to bowling wide yorkers from round the wicket or something else dumb.

I think the bat acts as a bit of a reflecting surface towards the stump mike when it hits the ball on that angle which is why it was so loud for us but the players didn't hear it.
