Ha ha I agree. The first one was my thought and the second one is of cricinfo's. I read the cricinfo preview only after my first post.The preview says Langer is thinking about resting him.

It would be a very Australian selector thing to do. Make any excuse to pick a Marsh and then remove the excuse but still pick the Marsh.

And then in the probable XI they have included Cummins and put Siddle's name as an alternative to Starc. I think they are as clueless as we are.
