5th Test at Hobart - 14-19 Jan 2022

You could see he had nothing behind that line from the stumps view man.
Has this law changed? Because I was under the belief the line went vertical - ie if part of the foot was behind the line in the air as a bowler pivoted back or slightly rocked back, it was a fair delivery. But Brett Lee said something had to be grounded

Alex Carey is going to have an almost identical Test career to George Bailey. Played the 5 Ashes Tests, did pretty **** in a dominant team, done forever.

The side on angle was a little ambiguous, the the view, but the view from the stump cam is clear as day, that was a no ball.

Can smell the stench of faeces coming out of Ian Botham's mouth all the way here in Adelaide

I don’t understand Simon Tauffel saying he “didn’t think there was enough evidence to overturn the decision”. Given the on-field umpires don’t call no-balls anymore, the third umpire isn’t overturning any decision- they’re the one making the initial decision on whether it’s a no-ball or not.

I know it might seem pedantic, but Tauffel, Ponting and Botham mentioned the “overturning” a number of times and suggested that there was a higher level of confidence required because of it, and that just doesn’t make sense to me.

Might be annoying to see Carey play his only good knock of the series to ****block the English the one time they’re in with a sniff. Hope he goes soon.

England should be fined 500% of their match fee for somehow allowing Travis Head to make a TEST CENTURY on THIS WICKET

Typical commentators - trying to sensationilise umpiring decisions. They forget the simple physics where a millimetre will always have less influence than the centimetres that are over the line and creating the unfair results that the rules try to prevent!!! GET REAL GUYS - AND FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE POMMY WHINGERS!!!!

Depends on how quickly England can wrap it up. I think England still have a chance if the target is under 250. 250-300 any English hopes are slim, and 300+ would probably need a miracle.
