Okay so a wicket is probably going to fall now that I've returned to this thread - but I must say it's been weird captaincy from Faf. Held back Tahir instead of attacking Mushy and Shakib with him right away, and gave Markram a spell instead. And did Markram really need to bowl a fifth over? He wasn't effective in his first 4, and they've got plenty of overs left from the quicks and Tahir.

Excellent batting from Shakib and Mushy tho. They've looked the business today. Mithun's started nicely as well, and they've still got Mahmadullah, Moses and Saifuddin to come. They could obv just implode from here, but they're looking set for 300+

Not a bad little hand from Mithun so far. Need 80+ more minimum though, and even then I'd have SA fairly strong faves.

South Africa better off finding a genuine seam fast medium bowler rather than picking bits and pieces cricketer morris

disappointed shakib got out but screamer is still batting. maybe he'll get injured and i won't have to listen to him keep wicket.

Yea that wicket was due.

Quite a bonus for BD that Ngidi can't finish his spell.

It's a decent pitch to bat on, but also SA haven't really bowled or fielded all that well. Looked a bit flat. Don't know if 300 is about par, or is a good score. England's 311 seemed about par but proved to be more than enough, but then again BD don't have a Jofra Archer in their ranks.
