I don't know why cricketers guiding the ball down to third man with a cross bat don't hold the back of the bat like a baseballer bunting the ball. It offers so much more control.

Mistake bowling first?

Faf's catch there early on, poor from him bailing out. Left markram no chance.

Well done Andile. Finally someone bowling where you meant to be on this pitch v Bangers.

I`m not actually liking the game plan with Ngidi. Obviously been told to bowl short at the batsmen which has not what has bought his success. He has been accurate slightly back of length at off stump and been successful. Even the not quite dropped catch was a result of a better pitched delivery.

And Phehlukwayo produces a dream delivery.

Not Terrible
I mean no, they don't. Our batting is weak but it's still better than a middle order of batsmen who average mid-30s with strike rates under 80.
Poor take imo. Bangers aren't as average as their stats suggest. Gotta keep in mind some of these blokes played international cricket way before other countries would've debuted them, and their stats suffer from it. Their current skill level is higher than stats alone would make you think. Still don't quite agree with Saffas batting being worse, particularly in England. Yeah might be unfair with the stats thing. But I reckon every single one of our batsmen would make their starting line-up, whereas the inverse is definitely not true.

Shakib is an ATG but needs to prove it today at 3. 80+ is needed. Anything over 280 on a used pitch with Bangladeshi spinners it is game on
