Cricketer Of The Year
Don’t think the Australian team talks anywhere near the trash of some of India’s gloating fans. If you like examples so much try and be as gracious as your team.
Those India fans on CW have mostly (but not completely) have been far more reasonable than the average casual facebook/reddit fan imoDon’t think the Australian team talks anywhere near the trash of India’s gloating fans. If you like examples so much try and be as gracious as your team.
The CW member, or the left arm quick?Man I love RTB
Labuschagne got a hundred so you can't really point the finger but you would expect a player of his caliber to have really punished us for all those drops and got to 200.You do have to be ruthless to be a good cricket side.
That means that, if you're near or just after a milestone when batting, you don't lose concentration and throw your wicket away. That means that if you're 2/190 or 3/230, you actually put up that 400+ score that gets you on the glideslope to winning in Aus conditions. That means that, when you have a side 5-down or 6-down, you finish the job and secure that victory or first innings lead.
This team could do with a lot more ruthlessness. The fact that they act out when put under pressure instead of playing better cricket is the opposite of ruthless, really.
Apart from when their keeper knew he'd spilled a catch in Melbourne, got up sheepishly because he knew he'd dropped it, then started celebrating as though he'd held it because one of his team mates came over and hugged him?Not even one incident of bad behaviour or lack of sportsmanspirit on their part.
This is usually the case for fans from everywhere tbh. Those India fans on CW have mostly (but not completely) have been far more reasonable than the average casual facebook/reddit fan imo

If you've got a problem with the way Australia played this series then you're kidding yourself. Both teams were fine. If you want to pull apart the behaviour of every individual at every moment then you're doing nothing more than looking for issues when there aren't any.
Another reason there wasn't more petulance between the two sides is because the visiting captain went home and gave his pacifier to his new born instead of spitting it out, which he does as often as not on the field too.
Did he though? he took five for nothing in the first dig in Brisbane. Bit ragged out late day five, but nothing too bad i thought.Yeah, I mean Hazlewood looked out of puff at the end of the series, but I'm not sure what Australia could've done different.
Just do it in a bright orange shirt like the proper RTB shouldGAS I'm gonna kill ya
Hmm. Interesting., Makes you think.
Batting was equally bad from both teams when pitted against good bowling attacks in lively bowling conditions, where Australia lost the case completely was being unable to pick wicket on last days of both Sydney and Brisbane tests.Labuschagne got a hundred so you can't really point the finger but you would expect a player of his caliber to have really punished us for all those drops and got to 200.
Pant from there went onto become a hero, Paine went onto become bit of a joke.Apart from when their keeper knew he'd spilled a catch in Melbourne, got up sheepishly because he knew he'd dropped it, then started celebrating as though he'd held it because one of his team mates came over and hugged him?

AUS test bowling is like India's top 3 ODI batting of Rohit, Dhawan, Kohli.Batting was equally bad from both teams when pitted against good bowling attacks in lively bowling conditions, where Australia lost the case completely was being unable to pick wicket on last days of both Sydney and Brisbane tests.
For a famed bowling line-up, they have a history of looking pretty ordinary when the pitch doesn't offer them something.
Compared to that, a young Indian bowling line-up was setting traps and executing plans successfully even in good batting conditions against top players like Smith and Labuschagne.
Indeed. Pant wasn't even called to account for it, which is... odd tstl.Pant from there went onto become a hero, Paine went onto become bit of a joke.
FWIW, mine was not about this though. I think they should make Cummins captain, this was one of the reasons, that is all.Think all of Pratters' and HB's winding points could be much better encapsulated through this:
Paine dug bit of a hole for himself though, his banter with Ashwin was cringey but he shouldn't have come out and apologized for that in middle of a live series.Indeed. Pant wasn't even called to account for it, which is... odd tstl.
Weirdly, Paine had one of his better series with the bat. Seems he hasn't been practicing catching enough though!
