4th Test at Old Trafford, Manchester

It needs the rain to arrive 12 to 15 hours earlier than forecast. Not that I want it to. England were dung in the final session and don’t deserve any good fortune.
Roy might scratch 40 and keep his place in the team.

Stranger things have happened but yes this is the most likely outcome by far
Will make up for England being awarded the WC on a technicality after not having outright won it within the 50 overs. Ill enjoy the doom and gloom amongst the English fans. Will also be satisfying after everything Aus fans went through last year. With Pakistan and NZ visiting, should be fun

Imagination is an empowering tool my friend :) No harm in imagining that just as Imagine Australia retaining the Ashes tomorrow. Hope you sleep well! :)
Australia probably will retain them tomorrow and I shall sleep fine. But England won the world Cup, that's a fact, bore off

*Big Hug* sorry for your loss. It will be a tough road ahead if Joe Root steps down as captain. Not being present in a home finals for the WTC will be very difficult. It’s ok man, we’re all in this together.

Wonder how much of a role Lyon will play tomorrow. England will surely lose either Roy or Denny early tomorrow, or perhaps both. Would love to see them 20-4.

What are you on about? We need Root to step down as captain as its been a massive net negative to us, its ****ed his batting up and he's clueless at the best of times in the field.

Ofcourse. Will be a tough road ahead regardless as England lack specialist test batsmen in their lineup.

Well yeah, but we make it worse for ourselves by not picking players when they're on a hot streak and picking **** from the odi team.

Yup. I always felt like Olie Pope and Sam Curran should have been given a chance, especially after how Curran performed with his bat vs India. Also, England did experience bad luck with injuries to Mark Wood and Anderson. England's depth or lack thereof has definitely been tested this Ashes. Some folks on here have been harsh on Denly but he seems to have good technique. Rory Burns has been the find.
